Dragonfly Forest

Dragonfly Forest is a game about discovering alternate knowledge systems, voices, experiences, and perspectives that differ from human ones. At the start of the game, the player has just entered the magical forest after journeying for days away from the village where all huumies on earth live. The player is tested on their interactions and choices to determine if they have what it takes to turn into a tree. This game has 3 possible endings: 1. You are ejected from the game and must go back to the village because you did not have pure intentions and disrespected the forest. 2. You successfully pass the tests to become a tree and are planted as a seed in the forest. 3. You are not meant to become a tree but instead you are deemed the connector - a bridge between the huumies and other beings tasked with bringing an understanding of the equal worth of all living entities and the inextricable bond that connects them all. Through this game, the player learns about the dark history between the huumies and the other forest beings, which reflects the nature of the relationship between humans and the natural world today. The encourages players to imagine new possibilities for our planet by departing from the present and speculating about new realms.
